Football Match

First of all, I would like to declare that I'm a Manchester United fan.

OK, there was a major match yesterday, that is Arsenal vs Liverpool. At about twelve, I was in YZD's house with YZD and OYY sitting in front of his LCD TV. I was still considering to support which team. There were soft drinks, junk foods and a comfortable sofa. Then, the whistle was blown and the match started. YZD in his Arsenal jersey was so excited when Arsenal led 1-0 in the 24th minutes. Just before half time, OYY's team, Liverpool pulled the score back to a 1-1 tie. During half time, YZD cooked some mees for his hungry friends. With a pair of chopstick in hand, we continued watching the second half until the match ended. So, the biggest winner was me, as both Arsenal and Liverpool only managed to get one point. Haha. Haha. Hahaha......

It's a great experience, although the match wasn't played by my team. Anyway, just to inform you all, despite Nemanja Vidic's sent off in the 49th minutes, Manchester United won the FIFA Club World Cup earlier that night with the help of Wayne Rooney who scored the winning goal in 74th minutes.

Edu Camp in UTP

Have you heard of UTP, that is Universiti Teknologi Petronas? I'm sure you do, and that's the place I spent three days from 14th of Decenber to 16th of December. For those who doesn't know this place, it is located in Tronoh, Perak. I was there to participate in Edu Camp organised by UTP, with a few other friends, who were TCY, Nicholas, CSC, LJL

I brief through some programmes in the Edu Camp. First of all, we started with the registration part. Once we registered, we would be given room keys. I was in the same room with TCY. Our room was P 01-02, V5-H Propana. Two fans, two lockers, two tables and two beds. That's all inside our room. So, the bathroom was quite nice and clean. When we placed all our things into the room, we walked all the way to Chancellor Hall. It was huge and magnificient. After handing our relevant documents, we were given a name tag with examination code. The introduction part was a bit boring. They talked something about Petronas' business, scholarship offered and life in UTP. As we had to wear formal clothes, the surrounding appeared to be a bit hot although the hall was air-conditioned. After the dull talk, we had to queue up for about 10 minutes to get our lunch. Then, we had a test, called Critical Reasoning Test. I didn't manage to finish the test, so I thought I won't be able to qualify for UTP already. At night, we were informed about the interview session and examination.

When the clock struck seven the other day, we had our breakfast. Then, TCY, Nicholas and I headed for the Main Hall to take a test, known as English Placement Test. I had about 5 hours before the next test. So, we went to the library. It was just beside the Chancellor Hall. It was breathtaking, I would say. The surrounding was comfortable and it was an ideal place to read some books. It was well-equipped with all kinds of facilities too. At three, we walked to the Main Hall again for Value Profiling. Right after dinner, we stepped into the Chancellor Hall again for Motivational Talk. Just to let you all know, we had an apple for supper the first night and a pear the other night.

UTP's library

The third day was the interview session. I was in Session B with four others as a group. Our case study had something to do with Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR). It was tough to me. Moreover, the question requested us for ways by government to make this CSR successful. I was blanked. First, we were being interviewed individually. The two interviewers kept putting me into some kind of predicament by asking some unpredictable questions. The 10 minutes passed by so slowly. After that, all five of us entered the room again for group interview. We were asked to talk about the related topic again for 20 minutes and gave them a final conclusion. Due to lack of understanding and knowledge about CSR, we finished it in 10 minutes only. Hopefully it won't affect our impression and marks.
Throughout the three days, I met a few friends from different states. I knew someone from Malacca, that is Ming Hern. Mr. Ng XX from Penang, Syaqil, Kamil, Guo Qiang and Shahzuan. All candidates there were so clever. Most Malays conversed in English fluently. It just dawned on me that I'm not even part of the tip of an iceberg.

Change of Phase

After SPM, it's now a totally different life for me. I'm no longer a Form 5 boy who only needs to care about his study. No more time for football, badminton, table tennis and swimming. No more time to be spent with my family and friends. But I think I still manage to spare some time for daydreaming. For now, my life seemed to be scheduled. Many yet to be accomplished tasks must be done in a limit of time. One comes after another. It's too soon for me. Time passes by stealthily.......

There will be a major change in everything, especially the environment. I have to confront with new challenges set by myself as well as those set by the society. It's a phase for me. A phase that needs a couple of big decisions that will mould my future life. A phase that is so crucial in paving the way to my dreams and ambition.

Now that I'm going to leave my comfort zone, I need to learn many new things. In order to minimise my dependence over my family, knowledge is crucial. Life out there may be what I treasure, but do I really have the capability to survive? It'll certainly turn out to be tougher.

Hopefully, all the phases will change naturally......

KL trip

Time passed by so fast and my holiday trip to KL ended in a twinkling of an eye.

On the 5th of December, my parents, my bro and I departed when the clock struck 12:05am. The whole journey took only 5 hours before we reached Pudu bus stop. The air conditioned bus made our journey a cold one and kept us sneezing. After 10 minutes, my third sis, xin and "lampard" came to fetch us.

We went to my second sis(hwei)'s home first where we unpacked all our things. We were already out there having breakfast when the sky was still dark. I had "harmee". The bowl of "harmee" seemed to be a bit big and most people spoke in cantonese which confused me a lot. Soon after that, we made a visit to IKEA. Cars could be seen lumbering slowly bumper-to-bumper along the way to IKEA. Fly-overs were usual structures in KL. IKEA was indeed a great place. All the things were arranged so coordinately and labelled clearly. The show rooms were fantastic. Different types of furniture full of creativity and innovation were equipped in sample dining rooms, washing rooms, kitchens,... There were tags informing us the function and other details of each furniture. Before long, we headed towards "The Curve". It was a huge shopping mall. We ended our tiring day with a dinner.

The second day, my bro and I lived in xin's apartment. Her room mates reared some kind of flying squirrels, feeding on apples. Her apartment looked rather comfortable and it will not be as nice as home. The guards looked responsible and the safety measures of the apartment were good. We went Batu Cave to have a look. 272 steps, i think and each steps were about 15-16cm high. So, for me, the energy consumed to get up there was approximately 20.8kJ. Later, we decided to go Mid Valley but traffic jam prevented us from entering. Out of ideas, we just went dinner. At night, we planned to take LRT to KLCC but we couldn't afford to let our parents to walk all the way to the LRT station and so, the plan shattered. Anyway, we went for a midnight movie in Pavilion. The movie was "Twilight", a love story between a vampire and a human. I'm so sleepy and I managed to stay awake until the movie ended.

On the third morning, due to the erratic weather, our trip to Zoo Negara was replaced to Sunway Pyramid. We had a long day shopping, or I should say window-shopping. Anyway, "Santa" (my mom) did give my something --- a shirt, saying that I'll be having National Service while they were shopping for New Year's clothes by then. At dusk, we went pasar malam near hwei's place. It was big. We were spoilt for choice, especially for food. It was so crowded. At night, we slept early.

The next morning, after filling our stomaches, we headed home. Home sweet home. Here I come. The trip was so enjoyable and memorable. I had the opportunities to spend more time with my family members and knew a bit about my sisters' lives in KL. All I could say is I love my family and I hope to spend more time with time.

Don't feel touched, because it's my life, not yours.
You should spend more time with your family!

Life after SPM

Ok, it's me again on do-imagine-who.blogspot.com.

1st of December
Right after SPM, I joined my friends to a movie in Alor Star Mall's cinema. As TCY had said, we met Jonathan who just came back from Australia. He looked taller and I dared not stand beside him. Madagascar 2 was on screen. We bought tickets, popcorn and drinks. The cinema looked cool and it's cold inside. YZD, Jonathan, TCY, OYY, OCS, TML, KWB and I watched the movie at about three. It was a funny one and an interesting one. For me, the most unforgetable character was "Moto-Moto" which means hot-hot. Haha. It's my first experience to be in a cinema with my friends. Waiting for my father, we walked around Alor Star Mall after the movie ended. Suddenly, I felt like we were the people mentioned by CKP who waited outside City Plaza. At night, I tidied my mountains of books.

2nd of December
Irritated by the alarm, I opened my eyes and saw a message from KWB, asking whether I'll joined him to City Plaza. It was just nine and I'm surprised I woke up so early. My family had some prayings to do on that day, and I'm the only one left in home. So, I became my mom's maid the whole morning. "Yes, mom. Ok, mom ...."

After having lunch, KWB's mom fetched us. We reached City Plaza and met with LPP, LKS, CSC, TCY, LJL, NIW, KFL(Ah Mat) who were playing DOTA. Later, we met LCB who was looking into the Secret Recipy. After having lunch, they went to the entertainment section. Games: KFL, LKS, LPP shot zombies; LCB "danced"; the rest threw balls hitting some innocent animals and fruits. YZD joined us there. Bowling was next. My first time, my first touch, my first throw. Bowling, i mean... I got quite high scores among my friends, 82, i think. And bowling gave me both sweet and bitter memories which earned me high scores and an arching arm.

Separated after bowling, KWB and I returned to school. It was a different feeling for me to enter my school, KSAH. Juniors were having St.John activities in the sickbay. We played football after the activities reached an end. KWB, my bro and I were in a team while CLT, SCJ and CYC were the other team. My team won 4-1 with KWB scoring hat-trick. When CLT went back, we played free kicks. I finally had the chance to have my long-yearned free kick. The ball curved a bit into the net over my bro(GK). Haha. Finally and finally and finally. In the evening, I learned riding motorcycle and driving car with my bro. Feeling less confident, many careless errors occured.

3rd of December
I woke up early, went Pendang to learn driving. It was quite a pleasant day. Everything was good except waiting. Someone called my name and I turned. Shocked, I said nothing but kept looking at his face. He's my primary school's classmates. He remembered me but I had forgotten his name. The "teachers" who taught me driving were not very fierce. I had the chance to drive in the open road. Instead of cars, I encounter more cows on the road.

(pictures will be updated for 2nd of December)
Thanks for watching ...

SPM

Ok, SPM was a history for me now. Let me brief through my experience and feeling about SPM.

First week
The first paper was Malay's essay and I didn't able to finish the 100 marks essay due to time factor which upset me a lot. I thought I had lost 8 marks in paper two as the novel part I wrote was completely out of the topic. Anyway, paper two was easier than I thought but I didn't mean it was easy. This made me more worried because the marks for A1 would surely increase. Nothing to comment about History paper one. Paper two halved my marks already, I think. English let me down or I should say I let English down. Although I planned for essay-writting this time, the topic I chose wasn't quite the same as I had prepared. I didn't know if I had stressed on the main points wanted by the topic or not. Getting A1 in 1119 will have a probability of 1/10 only. English's paper two's summary was quite hard. First week ended with Mathematics. I didn't do as good as I hoped in Mathematics as I was too careless.

Second week
Second week started with Additional Mathematics. It was a tough subject for me. I did badly. I just couldn't think of the write equation to use for the questions. It was followed with Moral. The question was more difficult and I did one big careless mistake-I made the essay parts into several paragraphs. It should be written in only one paragraph. Ok, here comes the science subject. Chemistry was the last subject for the second week. I managed to finish all the chapters in Chemistry so I'm quite confident in answering paper one and two. Paper three's questions appeared weird for me.

Third week
The third week was the toughest. What struck us first in the third week was Biology. No comment about Biology as it was as hard as usual. As Biology had more things to mesmorise and understand, I put more effort in it than Physics. We had Physics the next day after Biology. So, lack of revising made me nervous and careless. Taking Physics' paper three was like hell. The day after that was Chinese! So frustrated. I didn't study much for Chinese and my Chinese was not as good as all my friends all this time. Chinese's essay and summary were the things I concerned.

Final week
The final subject in the final week was Accountacy, I had about four days to study for it but I only started studying Accountacy two days before the exam. I even watched a football match live the night before the exam. It's Manchester United vs Manchester City and MU won with Rooney scoring the only goal in the match. Let's get back to Accountacy. Paper two was unexpectedly difficult for me, especially question two and three. Paper one was a piece of cake for others as I saw people leaning and yawning 30 minutes before it ended. It didn't end like I had expected. No fire crackers, no shouts, no screams, no throwing things, ..... Anyway, we took several pictures before going home.

If you all are interested about knowing my life after SPM, stay on and don't switch the "channel".

Last for October

Several weeks away from SPM, I am still relaxing. So, I decided to make this post my last post until this major examination finishes. Now, my younger bro is having PMR. Suddenly, I see myself when I'm preparing for PMR. Although I'm not as hardworking as my bro, I had the determination. Now, I start to feel a bit regret. Actually, just after PMR, I promised myself to do better when I'm preparing for SPM but I just couldn't. After the trial exam, I realised that I'm not prepared for SPM yet. Many people congratulate me for my trial's result but somehow I become more frightened. Maybe its because many others expect me to do well in SPM but in fact I'm not feeling confident with myself. "You don't need to study can also get good results and will get scholarship for ....." That is the thing that makes me fear. Am I really capable? Do I really have the potential? We'll see that later...

So, before I end this, I would like to wish all those who are sitting for PMR and those who will be sitting for SPM GOOD LUCK.

25 of Sept, 2008

Today, I woke up early because had to go tuition with Cikgu Muin. Then, when I reached home, I determined to read some notes. However, my bro left the PC opened and I was somehow being attracted towards it. So, I onlined. There was no one onlining in MSN, except KWB. Feeling bored, both of us decided to post silly comments in my friends' friendster profile. The first person we attacked is TCY, followed by OCS, CSC, YZD and lastly KFL. Those whose profile is still not attacked don't feel relief because you all maybe victims-to-be. Those who admire those victims don't worry. We'll help you to "decorate" your profile. As for those who want to revenge (TCY,YZD), please don't do so as you're falling into our traps. We purposely did so so that you all will repost some comments in ours. Therefore, do not let us succeed. Maybe we can be partners. We aren't agents to popularise friendster too, just someone that feel bored, right KWB? Anyway, those who wanna grant us with our wish please do not do so, so that we won't get motivated and became more radical. PLEASE DON'T GET ANGRY! All those comments can be deleted one ma. If cannot stand it, just bomb me in my profile lo, like someone who did it already.

Then, in the evening, I followed my sis to fetch my bro in tuition. On our journey home, our car stopped at a junction. Before long, we heard sirens and a fire engine appeared right behind our car. Of course, we quickly rushed forwards to give the fire engine way to pass although the traffic light was shining red. As we passed the junction, an ambulance dashed through behind us from the right way. And the fire engine behind remained unmoved. It finally dawned on us that the siren originates from the ambulance which were travelling from the right!!! What a mistake. We exchanged glances and laughed loudly.

At night, I watched tv for several hours long. After that, I went to online again. I saw my mails were full. Then, I knew that my profile would have been totally devastated. I opened my profile and saw TCY's revenging plans with his accomplice, XXX. So, I wrote this post with the main purpose to stop others from taking revenge. Hahaha.

Once after trial

The trial was over and I joined my friends (OYY, OCS, TCY, YZD, Nicholas H, TSC and KK) to play badminton in ASRC. We booked two badminton courts for two hours that is from four to six. My sis drove me and OCS to Simpang Kuala where OYY was waiting for us. OYY then brought us to ASRC. I entered the court and started playing without stretching. I played like an idiot as I was fooled by OYY again and again.

We had a few more games as we switched partners. Just after a while, I began to feel exhausted. Poor stamina!!! My skills were poor too, as well as my strength. I wore Beckham's jersey to play badminton. Have you ever seen Beckham playing badminton? Haha. We had so much fun.

Soon, it was six. OYY taught us some cool down exercise. It was quite funny and I dared not follow some of the act. After that, we went out for a sit. Nicholas H gave me a treat - a bottle of isotonic drinks. OYY took us to his home. It was quite nice and conducive. We even chatted with her mom while watching TV. Then, OYY fetched us to Simpang Kuala to wait for OCS's father to come fetch us home. We gossiped about PLKN, College, and YZD. Hahaha. After OCS made his call, we realised that his father had been waiting in other places.

I was so tired ........

Final Week of SPM Trial

When I entered the final week of SPM trial, I became more lazy and demotivated. From reading in detail, I began to flip over the pages, only memorising some equations and finally didn't revise at all when I knew the equations would be given in the examination. Physics, Biologi paper 3, mathematics (redo) are the subjects to be tested. I did badly in all the three subjects.

Physics: I used the wrong theory (solenoid) to solve a question about magnetic field. I told the teacher that I couldn't do that question because I couldn't see the coils of wires in the diagram. But actually, there were no wire in that particular question. That teacher got out of the hall, maybe to search for the original sheets. Then, I asked my Physics teacher the same question. Then, she said:"Hak ni bukan guna wire punya, guna tangan kanan. Hak tu tangan kanan punya rule, ....tangan kanan...tangan kanan..." She wanna told me that the correct theory was the right hand grip rule. As the hall was so quiet that even I could hear my own breathing, her voice appeared to be a bit loud. I was so embarassed that I kept saying:"Ok, saya try sendiri, saya try sendiri..." I kept looking around to see if there were dissatisfying look as teacher told me the answer.

Biologo Paper 3: It wasn't too hard nor too easy. I tried to finish it as soon as possible. I didn't even check my answer even though there were 30 minutes left. I let the time ticked off without a second look on my paper.

Mathematics : I did badly compared to the first time.

ANYWAY, the most important message of this post is the SPM trial is over already. But, there is more to come.(the SPM)

Second Week of SPM Trial

The first subject in the second week was Biology. It was so tough as I only read the hot topics given by my friends due to the time factor. The hot topics really came out, but in the wrong paper! All those questions related was in paper one, the objective paper. Paper two had other topics' questions, which I didn't revise. So, @#$%^!!! I felt so helpless that I almost cried it out loud when I saw the essay questions.

Account was next, followed by Mathematics and Additional Mathematics. For account, I don't think I do much careless mistake like last time, but this time, I've missed one topic--Tafsiran... I thought it would be in question 5 or 6 which required to answer either one. However, it was in question 4, a compulsory answering question. I tried to derive something from something that partially remain in my memory to get something to write. I wrote something that may or may not be the something that the teacher wanted.

Mathematics paper one was quite ok because I didn't get any answer wrong compared to OCS, the "pingat perak". As for the paper two, I couldn't do it as well as paper one. I became nervous when I couldn't figure out some answers. All these had become rubbish as we would have to retake Mathematics paper which would take me two more days. Two more days, man!!!

Additional Mathematics: nervous, lack of time, careless, ...... Maybe because I didn't read the questions clearly, I did a lot of unnecessary calculatings which cost me a lot of time. Consequently, I got more nervous and confused with part of the questions.

To sum in it all, I think I didn't do as well as I had expected. I seemed to be a bit relax compared to the first week. Wish luck to my friends and to me, more for myself, hahahahaha. The third week is coming and hopefully I manage to update my blog HAPPILY after that.

First Week of SPM Trial

For the first week of SPM trial, we had Chinese, History, Malay, English, Moral and also Chemistry. I think this time I did worsely. In most of the subjects, I'm lack of time because I wasted too much time in some particular parts. Besides, maybe because of the time factor, I found myself very nervous. I couldn't think of anything. Blank......

Aged 17, I had taken so many examinations. This trial will be the toughest one for me. It's not because the questions are tough or tricky, but this time it's tough for me to reject my three friends: carelessness, laziness and sleepiness. I can't blame my "friends" as I'm the one who decided to "give more priority to my friends" than my examination. I should have prepared for it earlier.

A lesson

This evening after I came back from my tuition, I invited my cousin for a fight. She is only seven but she is the one who asked me for a fight. Maybe she behaved like that after watching "Kung Fu Panda".

The fight started. She showed a lot types of kung fu. You know, kids!!! So, being a bit childish too, I attack. Then, she said we can't attack the head, maybe because she is not tall enough to hit my head. Fair! We continued. I hit her stomach (only gently). Of course, I was much more agile and react quicker than her. I tricked her again and again, included once when I say :"Before we have a fight, we should take a bow first." When she did that, I push her head down at once gently. Haha. After a while, she offered me not to hit anywhere except the stomach. In the other hand, I said if I hit her stomach ten times, she would have to go to bathe while me in turns would have to bathe first if she hit mine once. How arrogant I am? When I hit hers for the fifth time, she said kicks are allowed. I accepted without lingering. Just then, I attacked again but she protected her stomach with her hands. She kept covering her stomach and I was no longer patient. I attacked again, exposing my stomach to danger and I received a strong kick on my stomach.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This story tells me that I'm too arrogant and lack of patience. I felt a bit like "Sang Arnab Putih". I let her set all the rules, underestimated her and being too self-confidence. But the rabbit lost to an elderly tortoise which may be wiser but I lost to someone ten years younger. How embarrassing! Anyway, I'll remember that kick and I'll grow wise through this pain!

National Service

The list of NS trainees were announced a few days ago, which drew all Form Five students crazy. Now, you can hear everyone talking about either topics on national service or the Olympic Games everywhere, anytime. Less people are talking about SPM. I'm not excluded also.

On the day the namelists were announced, I was nervous too although I didn't know what I really want. At last, I was among the lucky ones. It's just like what I had assumed. Many others will accompany me! Haha. Many different reactions were given. Some just smile, some other yelled, even some are very happy like one of my friends who kept convincing me that the food there will be great. When I reached school the next day, I figured out the others who were chosen too. Then, someone said something that I totally agree with, that is "Hanya orang yang handsome akan dipilih!" and "Semua yang terpilih merupakan calon Straight A's!" Hahaha! So, there was a war between the unlucky ones (not selected) and the lucky ones. I was teased but I returned some too.

Now, I kept thinking about national service. Who knows what will happen?

SPM is drawing near

Today, we were given the schedule of our trial exam and SPM. I was quite shocked because SPM seemed "too close for comfort". After the trial exam, we have only about five weeks left to have our final preparation. I will have Bahasa Malaysia first and account last. Yet, I haven't finished any subjects' syllabus. Moreover, I haven't settled all the co-curiculum stuff yet. "Tick tock tick tock, ..... " time is running out. Hopefully, I can concentrate in my studies now with strong determination. Pray for me.

Actually, I was dumbstruck when I saw the schedule for the trial because we will have so many papers in every single day. And it is only weeks away. Damn it! Only three months left to fight for my future!

poem

In School:
Mathematics taught me how to multiply,
Physics taught me how to magnify,
While chemistry taught me how to purify;
Biology taught me how to classify,
English taught me what is clarify,
But history makes me wanna cry.

To my family:
When I get a new bike,
I'll join you all cycling around the neighbourhood until night;
When I get the license to drive,
I'll take you all around Alor Star for a ride;
When I get enough money and time,
I'll bring you all around the world in a flight.

Night
Whenever I close my eyes,
Dreams become alive,
Sometimes I become a butterfly,
Sometimes a dragonfly,
To a far far place I fly,
All the way to the paradise.

Dawn
The sun will rise,
And darkness turns to light,
It ends the night,
And it's time to fight,
Learn to sacrifice and be wise,
To make our future bright.

To victims of natural disasters
I can see pain in your eyes,
And when I see you cry,
It makes me wanna die;
Many people pass by,
But only a few stop by,
To save a helpless life.

Some words
There are many things I wanna try,
And many things flash past my mind,
But I don't know which is right;
I need more time,
But I couldn't buy,
With all my might.

100 years celebration

On the 25th of July, 2008, I had to miss Muin's class to go to school for our school's 100 years celebration rehearsal. A few prefects and I gathered on the field for a brief talk about our jobs the next day. It was a clear morning. The rehearsal was done quite perfectly according to the schedule. A full squad of students marched into the field. My bro was in that squad too. After a while, eight parachuters landed on the field with the help of the colourful smoke as a sign. Then, a plane flew low past the field. The rehearsal then came to an end. Before returning home, I helped to arrange our stall.

On the 26th of July,2008, I reached school early to do some preparation. It was a historical day because it was Sultan Abul Hamid College's 100 years anniversary. After making sure all St.John Ambulance members had their uniforms, I headed for the field. But before that, I went to the canteen to take a look of our stall. St. John Ambulance and Chinese Society joined to sell herbal eggs, carbonated drinks and some snacks.

When I reached the field, I was told about my job. Just moments later, there was a slight drizzle which became quite a heavy rain after a while. Anyway, the rain didn't even dampen our spirits. Students still make a long line along the road, waiting for the arrival of Sultan. The squad also marched in with high spirit. Sultan of Kedah arrived at about 9:00a.m. in his antique car, followed by other antique cars and motorbikes. The girl students quickly lined up to welcome Sultan although it was raining. My friends and I were seeking shelter under a tent. Hahaha. They or I should say we, saw a girl who was quite beautiful. OCS purposely took a photo of her to show KFL. Anyway, we all were shocked when she read the prayers which indicates that she's a Muslim. After Sultan's speech, we were asked to the Centennial Square to be "poppers triggerers".

After accomplishing all the tasks, I rushed back to the stall, only to know that our herbal eggs were finished. I helped to sell other stuff. When I got bored, I walked around our school. There were many exhibition such as the F1 car, antique cars and bikes, science, robotic, ex-collegians' masterpiece...... After the tour, I got back to the stall, continue selling things until four. Then, my sis and "hengdai" came to fetch me home.

Having my dinner, I received a call. My sis wanted to bring us to watch "The Dark Knight". I quickly finshed my dinner, changed my clothes and changed my clothes again before jumping into the car. Although we had ordered the seat tickets, we still had to reach there half an hour earlier or they would sell the tickets to others. We reached Jitra Mall late and had to take the second row seats which was too near to the screne. The cinema was better than City Plaza's. The movie was also quite nice, but it was a bit long. When the movie ended, it was 11:45p.m. I messaged KWB and LKS to inform them I'm not going to school the next day. That night, I slept at 1:xx a.m.

On the 27th of July, 2008, I woke up at 11:30 a.m. I quickly phoned KWB only to notice that herbal eggs once again were all sold out. In the afternoon, I brought my sis around my school, making some simple introductions. Then, I stayed back to help them with the stall. Tired, I reached home at five.

On the 28th of July, 2008, I went to school as usual. We started cooking the herbal eggs but there was some problems with the cables or something else so we had to cook the eggs in the Chemistry lab. YZD came to ask me to join him for playing FIFA 08. I played badly, but it's because I'm not used to PS2. What a lame excuse! Thanks to YZD for paying for the game. Hihi. Then, feeling bored, I joined my friends to walk about until we went into a room where we played darts. Again, I played badly. Then, NIW, OCS and I went into the Centennial Auditorium where the masterpieces were. There, we did some silly actions related to the masterpieces and took photo of them. At about two, I was back in the stall. We sold the last 3 tins of carbonated drinks and closed our stall. To create somemore stories for our grandchildren, we immersed our hand in the icy water to see who can last the longest. In the end, LPP and KFL were in the final but KFL quit moments later. His hand seemed swollen but we didn't know why. Before going home, we waited at the other stalls until they reduced their food's prices because it was the last day of the carnival. Haha. Then, we took a bus home.

15 of July

On the 15 of July, 2008, I woke up late because it was a public holiday. That day was the golden jubilee of the reign of Tuanku Sultan Kedah. There was a parade in Alor Star. Anyway, I had to attend Additional Mathematics tuition, so I missed it. Tuanku Sultan Kedah rode on an elephant, that's what I heard.

My friends were going to have laksa after the tuition. Initially, I wanted to join them but because prefects from Sultan Abdul Hamid College were invited to a function for stamps classification in Tuanku Sultan's palace in Anak Bukit, I couldn't have laksa with them. I was involved.

After wearing my uniform neatly, I headed to school with "Canon". About ten prefects will be going, but there was only one car. We were packed like tin sardins in that Toyota Unser. After about half an hour, we reached the palace. It was huge and decorated nicely. Before entering to a hall, we all made sure our uniform were tidy and neat. I had to wear a songkok in that formal occasion. Well, I borrowed it from a friend.

We entered a hall and had our seats. We waited for some time and a few VIP entered the hall one by one. At last, Tuanku Sultan stepped into the hall and lagu Negeri Kedah was played. After that, Tuanku Sultan got up the stage to launch special issues stamps. We all were treated with a reception after the function. Walking out the hall, we were given the first day cover as a souvenir. I managed to take a glimpse of Tuanku Sultan's mini zoo, swimming pool, a big aquarium, a football field and garage. I saw the mini zoo, but not the animals inside. We left the palace at about four and its time to sqeeze into the car again.

When we reached school, we took several pictures using our school's newly built small fountain as background. At night, I went for Physics tuition. Before CKP entered the class, my friend, BOND showed me the pictures of the laksa they had in the morning. He kept showing off with it for several days on. So, I'm writing this post to show off the first day cover. Haha.

this is the first page cover

An uneasy day

Today, I reached school at about 7:05 a.m. I dashed to find my junior, Tatt to ask for his favour to find one more member for marching. Then, I went on for duty at the Form 6 block. "Bad news!" Tatt said when I returned to my class. Three fellows were going to withdraw themselves from marching. I stormed to their classes and asked them out for a talk. I talked to them in an angry tone, urging them for reasons. I rejected all their silly excuses and everything was done. "Sometimes, we just have to act a bit strict." That's what I think. Mr. Yeoh told me that the school will be busy this Friday and our St'John day may be postponed. I sent two letters weeks ago not to hear that!

"Ring......" the school bell rang. The first period was Additional Mathematics. I planned to finish my Chemistry study at those two periods because there would be a Chemistry test then. Suddenly, Cikgu Osman stepped into my class and summoned me to have a talk on the marching stuff for our school's 100 anniversary. Oh, I haven't prepared the name list yet! Then, he just asked me to leave it on his table after I got the list done. After a moment, our head prefect walked into the class and said: "Let's go to bilik pengawas for a meeting." I handed up the list to Cikgu Osman. Accomplishing this mission, I headed for bilik pengawas. The prefects were discussing about the prefects' exhibition. I couldn't focus on their topic because I had to prepare another list for Cikgu Ku Azizan. I was assigned to find the biodata of some former head prefects for the exhibition with a few other friends. We went to Cikgu Sheridin's room to use the internet service to check for information. That thing worked damn slow and I was getting more and more frustrated. We spent hours there but got nothing. I no longer had time to revise my Chemistry.

It's recess. I had to go up Form 6 block to carry out the ultimate task. I entered a class, switched off the lamps and fans, and requested the students to stay outside the class. A few followed my order but one Malay continued eating. Maybe I was quite frustrated at that time, I said "I'll give you one minute", then I started counting. He raised his voice, saying that he would be out in a moment and it's unnecessary to rush him. Then, I "shot" him back, saying that he's the one breaking the law! Bla bla bla... I just ignored him and went for the second class. I did the same thing, maybe I spoke rudely. Before I climbed up the stairs to the third floor, I heard someone calling me. I turned and asked what was he trying to say. The student replied, "You are so rude! You can't treat seniors like that! If you ask us out nicely, we will surely cooperate with you"." You don't pay any respect to us!" followed by the former who was eating just now. I can't do anything so I said, "If I demand you all out nicely, will you cooperate?" They promised. So, I apologised only to make them satisfied for "winning" a prefect. I was still very angry and emotional at that time.

Then, the recess was over. After Sejarah lesson, it's time for the test. The test was quite tough because I didn't finish revising. Test was done, and I'm done! I did so badly, believe me, I know it. Cikgu Ku Azizan then asked for another meeting. He demanded us to help him this, help him that. It's a lot of work, uneasy work! Sweating profusely, I sat at my own seat, calming down. Something wasn't settled yet. I went to find Tatt again. More bad news came. Someone wished to change from the marching group to other group. I won't care anymore and just tell him that nothing can be done already.

It had been a busy and uneasy day for me. Hopfully tomorrow will be better!

Get it out of my head

Today, my sis urged me to watch a video clip. I thought it will be something funny like the one she let me watch last time. Anyway, when I rushed into the room in front of the computer screen, I saw a group of people, maybe on an expedition in Safari. They were taking photographs of a few lions or lionesses. What flashed through my mind about the video clip was "a lucky survive from animal attacks" just like those in "World Most Amazing Videos".
The show went on. A man stepped nearer to those creatures. Just like what I've expected, the man was attacked by a lioness. Out of the blue, a few more also take part. Blood can be seen all over the victim's or the prey's body. The people around quickly tried to scare the lionesses off, but all their efforts are in vain. He was still struggling. The victim's wife, kids and a toddle was in the car, watching their beloved one being eaten alive. Tears can be seen, the toddle was crying, and his friends look so inconsolable, because they can do nothing but to watch their friend turning into a meal. I was petrified. The ending was not what I expected. The man who was still struggling for life just now had already lain there motionless, and the lionesses were feasting on his abdomen. Oh, God! Why didn't they get into the car and tried to scare them off by honking or whatever? The scene was too horrible for me. And the emotion of all the faces. I just couldn't get that scene out of my head.
What I can say is curiosity kills! Don't try anymore dangerous things. It doesn't worth your life.

Religion and Beliefs

After reading delusion's post about religion and beliefs, I feel that what he mentioned partially are very correct indeed, like why should we limit ourselves because of certain religion and beliefs. But I think it depends on what are we limiting ourselves from. Taking all the consequences into consideration is a crucial process before an act. However, if you do so, you will never succeed to do anything.

In old days, people are mostly very religious and have intense piety. They MAYBE don't know much about the nature. Like during solar eclipse, they will wonder why this thing will happen. In order to calm all the people down, answer has to be found. When the answer cannot be defined, they will push all the responsibilities to God. Before the solar eclipse, maybe something unusual happens like a crow perching on someone's roof, a snake is killed or anything else that is not seen or done in daily life, and they will relate it to the occurance of this natural phenomena, saying God is mad with their doings ..... and so God..... In some areas, slaves are to sacrifice to please the God. Suddenly, many beliefs, dogma and taboos emerge from nowhere. Those things have become part of tradition, and no one can tell whether it is right or wrong.

Actually, some of the precedent made is based on the thought of the fundamentalists only. So, the fundamentalists MAYBE wanted to give the people or even the next generation know some moral values or some leasons through talks. People live during ancient time have a great faith in those thoughts. Soon or later, it turned out to be religion doctrines. So, can you tell that the fundamentalists' opinions are all correct or wrong? But something for sure, the fundamentalists live decades before, so his thoughts will only depend on things happen at that time. As time passes, many things have undergo changes. So, people nowadays won't have the same thinking as the fundamentalists. So, there will be contrast.

Therefore, should those dogma be changed? Maybe they are true? Once you change the doctrines, can you bear the consequences? Maybe many things in this earth shouldn't be changed. We will never know what will happen after that.

Ok, I am a Buddhist and I do practice some of the doctrines. I think large percentage of the doctrines are rules to prevent humans from doing harms. Many other ways like through education or punishment through law can also prevent humans from becoming demons. Not all people are well-educated. Not all people scare the police. Of course, not all people will do "what God tells". According to "God", humans who commit sins will be punished when they die, that is they will suffer in hell. While those with good deeds will be in heaven after they pass away or God will treat them well in lives.

Many people tell me not to do good deeds only to hope for the rewards. But, will I? Have I ever done so? Usually, I will use "good treat from God" to push myself to do good things. So, no matter God will actually treat me well or not after I did something good, it will push me on doing so.

Delusion, sorry for using many of your terms and phrases because I don't know much about words related to this topic.

July already

It's now July and I still haven't prepare for SPM. A few more months only to go. I now its importance but ....

"Time and tides wait for no man; Procrastination is the devil's workshop; Time is precious."I know all these but I just couldn't get myself ready for study or homework. I see all my friends already pulling up their socks, burying their heads under all those tonnes of books. How can they do that? And why can't I? Why I still laze around?

"Homeworks, a piece of cake, I will get it done just in a few minutes." That is what I usually speak in my heart. Anyway, all my homeworks now pile up like Mount Everest! Beside homework, I have some co-curriculum task to be done. Ya, you want the certificate, you want the post, you get it, and you get all the responsibilities. Many activities have to be carried out and ought to be carried out. I am not grumbling that co-curriculum activities caught me busy but I just somehow regret that I didn't accomplish those stuff early on.

Temptation, that is what I couldn't get myself through. Don't you think of nonsensical things! The temptation I mean is from the TV dramas, games, online, and the most irresistible one is my bed. Even I can prevent myself from sticking to the TV or PC, once I lay my head down on my pillow, I am stuck, like a mosquito trapped on a cobweb. I just can't get up. Even I don't feel sleepy, I will just lie down there, thinking something else. Oh ya, I am keen on thinking, not doing. I considered it dreaming. "WALK THE TALK" is a phrase I learn from my English teacher who retired year ago. Hopefully I can.

I think I cannot get myself settled in my chair for long because I satisfy easily and I don't have determination. Lack of determination is a problem that cannot be solved since I figure it out. Haha, I finish a chapter, let have a rest first, and what happens then is I fell asleep. So, I miss the other nine chapters. Once I came across some difficult questions, I will give up. Once I have a rest, I will have it for a long time. What the ......... !!!!!!! (scolding myself)

Ok, I get better now. Now, I need to resist the temptation of writing blogs too. So, I think I will start to do my homework then or maybe study Biologi or Chemistry. Wait a minute, it's almost ten. I think the TV drama has started already. Then, after watching the drama, you will find me dozing off to sleep. Hahaha. If you have some useful ways, effective steps or SECRET FORMULA like what CKP usually gives the students, please save me, SIFU, PLEASE!!!!!!!

Balance of Nature

In my opinion, all things or most things in nature are balance, must balance and will be balanced. The "balance" I mean is not sort of justice or equal in amount, but what I mean is in the original state.

OK, let me give an example that exist in this world, that is the ecosystem. You see, flora and fauna are arranged in a pyramid table which roughly shows the numbers they should exist. The producer has the most numbers, followed by primary consumer, secondary consumer and tertiary consumer. Sometimes, the numbers of any organisms in any trophic level of the pyramid table will rise or decrease due to some environmental factors or other reasons. Anyway, the whole system will be affected and after some periods, the system will return to its original state. I will give a simple instance: "In the paddy field, snake's population decreases drastically. When the snake's population decreases, the number of eagles will eventually decrease as they lack of food or maybe killed in a competition for food. On the other hand, rats will increase in numbers as their predators have decreased in numbers. When rats is getting more and more, the paddy plant will get less and less. So, how is it balanced back? When rats become more and eagles become less, the snake will have a favourable condition which enables its population to increase. When snakes get more in number, rats' decrease, crops' increase, and eagles' increase. All are back to normal."

What I really want to say aren't about foodweb but it's about the relationship between humans and nature. Nowadays, the population of humans increases rapidly and can't be controlled by the ecosystem as we, humans have intelligence to avoid being the preys, but to be the predators. Humans are getting more and more, and humans carried out lot of activities that will harm the nature, like using up the unrenewable resources, polluting the environment and destroying the balance of nature. Humans reign this Earth, that is what we see. But, actually, we aren't! The highest power is still in the hand of our Mother Nature. Humans' population are actually still being controlled. How is it controlled? One of the answers is through natural disasters, like earthquake, volcano eruptions, flood, tornado, hurricane, landslide, avalanche, tsunami .... I'm not saying that the mother nature purposely do so to kill us but it is like the disaster will happen in a few areas. As humans' population increases, we will occupy more areas in this Earth, which means that we are more exposed to disaster because some of us have entered the DANGER areas where disaster will strike. It's just like a piece of land where landmines are burried. The more people in there, the higher the percentage of people getting hurt. This is how mother nature keep us in balance. It's only my thought, not a fact.

Some disasters are caused by humans ourselves, such as flood and landslide. We throw rubbish into rivers and drains, clogging them and what happens is flood. We cut down the trees, resulting in soil erosion and what happens are landslide and flash floods. Don't you think we are somehow commiting suicide? We are not only committing suicide but we are risking other innocent lives! So, we humans ourselves are also controlling our own population by inviting disasters. Humans are also the agent to control our population. There are good guys and bad guys too in this world. I think I'm a good one(haha). Back to what I just mention about, the increase in number of humans also means that there is an increase in the number of bad guys. Bad guys will kill good guys and good guys will kill bad guys by law. Crimes increases, death increases. Besides, competition will decrease numbers too, but mostly happens among flora and fauna. Anyway, in some rural areas, some people will kill each others in order to get food. The more the number of humans, the more the occurance of carelessness, the more the number of accidents. And, accidents that kill the most people are road accidents. More people, more cars, more accidents!

There is an existance of an action and a reaction. We do an action and we will get a reaction. Something changes, something will try to make it return to its original state(in certain condition only). Humans keep polluting the environment, Mother Nature will get angry and don't ever force her to choose her final choice - destroy everything and then build again!!! Ice age is a good example. Dinosaurs reign this Earth for quite a long time, I don't know what happens but Mother Nature decides to destroy everthing, killing most of the organisms, then it's time to rebuild the Earth with greenery. After some times later, some tiny organisms which survive from it will change become other organisms through evolution. It's just like the movie "Evans All Mighty". The movies revolves around a man who is chosen by God to run Noah's task, that is to build a giant ark to carry animals and humans as there will be a large flood coming. Then, after the flood, everything starts from beginning. Everything is back in balance. Maybe ice age is just a cycle that has to be undergone, everthing will eventually be balanced back.

Attraction

We are always trying to attract other people's attention in our daily lives, whether we do it purposely or naturally. We, humans like to be attractive. So, what is the purpose for all these? There are a few reasons that i can think of.

First, to attract the opposite sex. Humans, just like animals and plants, trying to present the best appearance to others, so they can keep their "target's" eye focusing on themselves. Besides, some people aim to attract their parents' attention, because they need love, care. On the other hand, others will do some silly things to attract others in order to be famous. All those are done purposely. But there is someone who attracts others naturally. He/She will seem like a star, shining brightly and others couldn't even get their eyes out of him/her.

Of course, there are many ways to attract people. One of the most common one is to dress up like a prince or princess, or like a beggar. Animals do so too, by "showing off" their colourful feathers, wings, or bravery which is shown in a battle to fight for sex partners. You can attract others as long as you are above or below the normal level. For example, we all usually clad in simple T-shirts and trousers or shorts to tuition. That is considered normal for one's wearing. Wearing clothes above the normal level can be considered wearing something special, valuable things like wearing a cap, a jacket or a diamond necklace to tuition centre. While below the normal level is like wearing something that is not suitable in certain areas like wearing pyjamas, singlets to attend classes. Both types run the same function, that is to ATTRACT others (maybe purposely or not). Somebody else may even try to attract others through action. They may speak loudly or purposely do some silly stuff. Some people with expensive gadgets like cell phone, MP3 etc will attract others too. And, I'm not discriminating anyone as sometimes they really caught my attention which means that the way really works (Haha). It is not everyone's fault to attempt to attract others, but picking the correct method will be crucial. Those talented or skillful persons will captivate others naturally.

Anyway, different ways surely will have different effects, either giving others a good or bad impression about yourself. Let me give another fact, like some students who like to act cool, act bossy, act smart, act cute..... They will give people different impressions. "Acting cute, what a lousy idea!" or "How cute, how i wish to have her as my girlfriend" are such a contrast of thought about those girls who like to pretend like that.

Therefore, if you are someone who cares what others think of you, PLEASE think thoroughly before you do anything, speak anything or watch anything because your every move, every words, every act may attract others. Anyway, even you have the ability to attract others, it does not mean that you are attractive, you may seem annoying for some other people, who maybe really don't like your ways of attracting, or maybe envy you to have that ability.

It's just something I wanna talk about. I have no means of offencing or hurting anyone. So, those who find this post to be ......... , you can leave your comment.

Football

Football is a sport, a game that can join people from all around the world, regardless of races , gender, or age. The passion, the spirit is unimaginable. It is a game which needs skill, cooperation, and of course passion. "Goal...!!!" That's the word that makes the football fans crazy. A football game is 90-minute long. Some people think that it is boring to see twenty-two persons running for a ball. But for me, those people are running after their dreams, trying so hard to achieve them. They are trying to score goals, and defend their goal from the opponent. Goal in other word is "aim". So, in my opinion, a football game is as if a life. In our lives, we have to put in more efforts to make dreams come true, and we have to work hard to prevent others from crashing our dreams. Both team are doing their best to achieve their goals. The opponent's defenders are like any other obstacles that can make all your effort to achieve your goal in vain and the opponent's goalkeeper will be the final stage you have to overcome to achieve your goal. Team players are partners, or any other people in this world that can help you to get what you long for. They will have to help each other in order to reach their final destination. Carelessness of any of the players will put the whole team's fragile dreams in jeopardy. In a football game, there will be joy and disappointment, laughters and tears, celebration and fights, glory and shattered dreams. The game means so much for the players as well as all the football buffs. Referee acts like a judge, making sure that all players are playing in a friendly and correct manner. Anyway, just like in reality life, corruption sometimes happens in the realm of football.

My favourite football team is Manchester United, which is called MU in abbreviation. MU emerges champion in EPL and also UEFA Champion League this season. They played well as a team in UEFA Champion League, overcoming all the other skillful and prestigious football club like AS Roma and Barcelona all the way into the final where they beat Chelsea. The players of MU are Wayne Rooney, Saha, Tevez (striker), Ryan Giggs, Christiano Ronaldo, Michael Carrick, Nani, Park Ji Sung, Paul Scholes, Darren Fletcher, Owen Hargreaves, Anderson (Midfielder), Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic, Silvestre, Gary Neville, Wes Brown, Patrice Evra, John Oshea (Defender) , Edwin Van Der Sar, Tomasz Kuszczak (Goalkeeper) and other players on bench. Sir Alex Ferguson is MU's coach and under his leadership, Manchester United had won countless trophies.

Beside MU, I support England team. David Beckham is the one I admire. He is very skillful and he was the captain of England team. He is well-known for his crossing, corner kicks, and free kicks. He even scored a goal from half-field long distance. He can control the ball perfectly and his ball always curved right into the net. In FIFA 2002 Qualifying Rounds, England will have to get at least a draw to qualify for FIFA 2002. England was down by one goal to nil. Just before the game ended, David Beckham scored a superb free kick against Greece in the dying minute. That crucial goal was just enough to bring England to Japan and Korea.
