A lesson

This evening after I came back from my tuition, I invited my cousin for a fight. She is only seven but she is the one who asked me for a fight. Maybe she behaved like that after watching "Kung Fu Panda".

The fight started. She showed a lot types of kung fu. You know, kids!!! So, being a bit childish too, I attack. Then, she said we can't attack the head, maybe because she is not tall enough to hit my head. Fair! We continued. I hit her stomach (only gently). Of course, I was much more agile and react quicker than her. I tricked her again and again, included once when I say :"Before we have a fight, we should take a bow first." When she did that, I push her head down at once gently. Haha. After a while, she offered me not to hit anywhere except the stomach. In the other hand, I said if I hit her stomach ten times, she would have to go to bathe while me in turns would have to bathe first if she hit mine once. How arrogant I am? When I hit hers for the fifth time, she said kicks are allowed. I accepted without lingering. Just then, I attacked again but she protected her stomach with her hands. She kept covering her stomach and I was no longer patient. I attacked again, exposing my stomach to danger and I received a strong kick on my stomach.

This story tells me that I'm too arrogant and lack of patience. I felt a bit like "Sang Arnab Putih". I let her set all the rules, underestimated her and being too self-confidence. But the rabbit lost to an elderly tortoise which may be wiser but I lost to someone ten years younger. How embarrassing! Anyway, I'll remember that kick and I'll grow wise through this pain!

National Service

The list of NS trainees were announced a few days ago, which drew all Form Five students crazy. Now, you can hear everyone talking about either topics on national service or the Olympic Games everywhere, anytime. Less people are talking about SPM. I'm not excluded also.

On the day the namelists were announced, I was nervous too although I didn't know what I really want. At last, I was among the lucky ones. It's just like what I had assumed. Many others will accompany me! Haha. Many different reactions were given. Some just smile, some other yelled, even some are very happy like one of my friends who kept convincing me that the food there will be great. When I reached school the next day, I figured out the others who were chosen too. Then, someone said something that I totally agree with, that is "Hanya orang yang handsome akan dipilih!" and "Semua yang terpilih merupakan calon Straight A's!" Hahaha! So, there was a war between the unlucky ones (not selected) and the lucky ones. I was teased but I returned some too.

Now, I kept thinking about national service. Who knows what will happen?

SPM is drawing near

Today, we were given the schedule of our trial exam and SPM. I was quite shocked because SPM seemed "too close for comfort". After the trial exam, we have only about five weeks left to have our final preparation. I will have Bahasa Malaysia first and account last. Yet, I haven't finished any subjects' syllabus. Moreover, I haven't settled all the co-curiculum stuff yet. "Tick tock tick tock, ..... " time is running out. Hopefully, I can concentrate in my studies now with strong determination. Pray for me.

Actually, I was dumbstruck when I saw the schedule for the trial because we will have so many papers in every single day. And it is only weeks away. Damn it! Only three months left to fight for my future!

poem

In School:
Mathematics taught me how to multiply,
Physics taught me how to magnify,
While chemistry taught me how to purify;
Biology taught me how to classify,
English taught me what is clarify,
But history makes me wanna cry.

To my family:
When I get a new bike,
I'll join you all cycling around the neighbourhood until night;
When I get the license to drive,
I'll take you all around Alor Star for a ride;
When I get enough money and time,
I'll bring you all around the world in a flight.

Night
Whenever I close my eyes,
Dreams become alive,
Sometimes I become a butterfly,
Sometimes a dragonfly,
To a far far place I fly,
All the way to the paradise.

Dawn
The sun will rise,
And darkness turns to light,
It ends the night,
And it's time to fight,
Learn to sacrifice and be wise,
To make our future bright.

To victims of natural disasters
I can see pain in your eyes,
And when I see you cry,
It makes me wanna die;
Many people pass by,
But only a few stop by,
To save a helpless life.

Some words
There are many things I wanna try,
And many things flash past my mind,
But I don't know which is right;
I need more time,
But I couldn't buy,
With all my might.
